2007 National Championships

The 2007 National Championships held in Adelaide from the 20th – 23rd of September saw a plethora of medals and good results from Western Australian athletes. The outstanding result was that of our sparring athletes contesting the premier junior category of 14-17years Black Belts. The 14-17 year Black Belt athletes garnered Western Australia’s best Gold Medal tally since 2002. Out of a total 18 divisions in this category and Western Australian athletes contesting only 13 of the divisions, the 5 gold medals won were a great result.

In Total Taekwondo Western Australia competitors won 42 Gold Medals, 27 Silver Medals and 32 Bronze Medals.
